My name is Natalia Platova. I was born in the Sverdlovsk Region in 1977 and have lived in the Krasnodar Territory since 2000.

My path to painting has been complex, yet very meaningful. In 1994, I graduated from an art school. Later, I earned a higher education degree in economics. I continued studying painting independently through books and private teachers. Based on my higher education, I then obtained a degree in art education, which marked the beginning of a new creative journey. My painting style is a fusion of realism and impressionism. While I value strong drawing skills, the most important element for me in painting is light, which — just like in life — gives us a sense of joy.I draw inspiration and themes from my travels. I love observing and painting sunlight on complex forms. I most often paint with oil on canvas, though watercolor also has its place in my work. I use only professional-quality materials in my practice. 

Since 2022, I have been an artist with experience in teaching fine arts. My works are represented in a gallery in Zofingen, Switzerland.
